1. What is Reduced Coenzyme Q01 ? What is the differences from Traditional Coenzyme Q10 ?
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a vitamin like nutrient found in almost all cells and plays an important role in the production of energy through the
mitochondrial respiratory chain.Coenzyme Q10 is useful for protecting and improving the liver, brain, heart and nervous system. Reduced Coenzyme Q10 is the active component of Coenzyme Q10 in the body and is 3-7 times more absorbable than Coenzyme Q10 and is a source of vitality for the
heart.
2. Reduced Coenzyme Q10 VS traditional Coenzyme Q10
2.1.1 Excellent stability
Compared to commercially available crystalline forms, our reduced coenzyme q10 offers better stability. At 25 °C/60% RH in open airat 25 °C/60%
RH for 4 weeks, the content of reduced coenzyme Q10 in the commercially available crystals decreased by 6%, while our reduced coenzyme Q10
content decreased by only2% reduction.
2.1.2 Improved solubility
Compared with current marketed Reduced Coenzyme Q10, our reduced coenzymeQ10 displays an obviously increased solubility
(38.3 times in simulated gastric fluid and 12.6 times in simulated intestinal fluid)
2.1.3 Higher absorption
Compared with current marketed Q10 and QH, Our Reduced Coenzyme Q10 displays an obviously increased absorption (4.5 times in AUC and 2-4 times in Cmax).
2.1.4 Better in anti-diabetic effect
Our reduced coenzyme Q10 present significantly better glycemic control effect than that of Marketed QH. Model SD rats having
Type II diabetes took our reduced coenzyme Q10and marketed QH orally at a dose of 20 mg/kg for 40 days. The results showed
that compared with the rats taking marketed QH, the rats taking Crystal QH® had a 33.7% decrease in fasting blood glucose and
a significantly improved (efficacy) in glucose tolerance.
